IABC offers free global webinars for members on the latest trends and best practice in communications. You can join the sessions live if the time zone suits or catch up on the recording, which are all posted to IABC Advance. Topics cover everything from leadership comms to crisis management, strategy, planning, measurement and more!

IABC also runs live online Master Classes throughout the year with experts on creativity, AI and everything you need to stay ahead in your career. These are longer than webinars and usually broken into parts over a few weeks. Members get discounted rates. If you can’t make the session you can purchase the recording from IABC Advance.

You can also access various free event recordings, podcasts and resources from IABC Regions and Chapters around the world.

IABC Advance - on demand education

Access over 200 on-demand online courses through IABC Advance. Popular courses include change communications, crisis planning, content marketing and communications automation. Members get discounted rates (some free). IABC+ Members get free access to all on-demand courses (live courses may have a registration fee). Non-members may all access the content at non-member prices.

Catalyst - news, resources & thought leadership

Keep up-to-date with the latest insights and news from the communications industry with the IABC news portal, Catalyst. You’ll be able to access templates, gain inspiration from case studies, discover new research and hear about the latest trends in communications management, internal communication and external communication. Members also receive the monthly Catalyst newsletter.

Gold Quill Awards

IABC’s Gold Quill Awards have been recognising and awarding excellence in strategic communication for more than 40 years. By entering the Gold Quill Awards you’re validating your best work against a global standard, demonstrating that your work is innovative, strategic and delivers significant results.

GCCC Certification

The Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC) offers two certification programs - Communication Management Professional (CMP) and Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP). Both certification programs require communications practitioners to demonstrate relevant professional training and education, appropriate professional experience and knowledge of the field. Before being awarded your certification, you’ll need to sit and pass an exam. CMP is the only communications certification to hold international accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

IABC Career Centre

Looking for a new job? IABC has put together a Career Centre for members where you can gauge where you are in your career and identify competencies you need to develop as you move throughout career. You’ll also be able to access the IABC’s global job board to view job advertisements in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations and corporate affairs.

The Hub

To help communicators connect with peers around the world, IABC offers members an exclusive online community, The Hub.
