IABC NSW events 2021
We’re thrilled to give you a sneak peek on how 2021 is shaping up.
In July we asked for your feedback and suggestions for events, topics and speakers to inform our events strategy for 2021.
We put forward a range of speaker ideas and topics and there was lots of great feedback coming from the survey regarding:
Our range of speakers; consultants versus comms professionals.
About the balance people are looking between virtual and face to face (50/50 split) when we get back to in person events.
About ensuring networking is still incorporated into virtual events.
Ensuring we brief speakers to ensure they appreciate the audience level and sophistication to always get the right tone.
The events survey gave us the chance to see how we were tracking on our Net promoter score. We were thrilled to see an increase by 40 percentage points.
We had set a target to increase by 10 percentage points so we are delighted that the membership feels so passionately about the community and we can build on this momentum together.

Please note this is an overview, events are not in any order and we’re still working hard on ensuring feedback is actioned, that speakers and topics are locked in and we have an overview of dates and times so you can plan your IABC NSW experience throughout 2021.
Our sincere thanks to all the speakers who put forward topics, to Salt & Shein for all their ongoing support, to all the members who offered their feedback and to our board for all their tireless work in elevating our local chapter and supporting the vision to advance the profession, create connection and develop the credibility and recognition of our community.
