At the 2023 Annual General Meeting, we elected eight new Board members onto the Chapter. As part of our Board governance, we run a thorough selection and nomination process to bring on new Directors.

IABC NSW is thrilled to advise that we will be hosting a Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC®) exam in Sydney on Friday 27th August.

In July we asked for your feedback and suggestions for events, topics and speakers to inform our events strategy for next year.

We were delighted that so many of you responded, we want to assure you we heard, we are listening, and we are responding to your feedback.

As part of our commitment to the IABC NSW community we promised we would deliver a strategy session this side of Christmas for our members. The IABC NSW experience survey helped set the foundation for our strategy session.

The Annual General Meeting of the NSW Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators will be held at 6.00pm, 3 December 2019.

At the start of the year the IABC NSW board held our annual strategy day and agreed that we would check back in after six months to revisit the strategy and see how we were tracking. Our vice president Kieran McCann shares our 6 month update.

It’s a great honour to have been asked to take on the vice presidency of the International Association of Business Communicators NSW chapter, the community and aspirations of the IABC are very dear to me and I hope together our 2019 board can continue to deliver an exceptional membership experience for our communication profession.
